Amazing!!! I saw the DVD version of "The four minute mile" and the
first to break the 4' mark was a British Doctor in training. Wonder if
he was on steroid?

5 yr ago the fastest mile on US soil was 3:49.92. Check date on article
and what the article said. He did run the mile in that time, which is
all the OP stated. The wording is such that he might have had you
believe otherwise or just doesn't read well.
