http://washtimes.com/upi/20060316-055748-9608r.htm Runner exhausts teenage mugging suspect Mar. 16, 2006 at 6:04PM A 37-year-old marathon runner who had just put in 10 kilometers in a London park chased down a 17-year-old mugging suspect. The teenager collapsed after two miles while Glyn Roberts was still going strong, The Mirror reported. "He kept turning around and had this stunned look on his face," Roberts said. "He couldn't believe I was still chasing him. Eventually, he slowed down and fell to his knees. He was knackered. He begged me to let him go, but that wasn't going to happen, not after I had run so far." The chase began on Hampstead Heath, where Roberts said a boy told him the 17-year-old had assaulted him. The teen was released on bail after being charged with robbery and suspicion of actual bodily harm.

Knackered? Isn't that the feeling you experience when your girlfriend won't let you get in her knickers?

Knackered...damn what a great word. Can I use that? Today I was "knackered" after 11 miles, my dog too. We are both knackered as all hell. As for reason why we run... I do it to keep in touch.

Stupid crap like that could only happen in the UK. If that were america one of three things would've happened, 1) as the homey was running, he'd see the jogger chasing him, stop and beat the snot out of the jogger, 2) his "crew" would see the chase, and put a cap in the joggers ass, or 3) the jogger would have a flashback of a relay race, grab the purse from the exhausted mugger like it was a baton, and keep running with it. But trust me, there's no fuckin' way that'd go down like that in the USA, only on "the fag island".
