Floyd Landis would say yes.

That would be pretty cool if scientists did determine one day that
having 1 beer can improve running/exercising performance.

thanks rick--notice the quantities the mice consumed--the article said
that NO ONE could drink that much wine to reach those levels. Well,
I'm sure that someone out there will give it a try.

Also note that the two studies were written by doctors with a financial
interest in the outcome.
