Gee, one question and I am a spammer.

Is there a problem with trying to compile some useful information and making
it available for people who are interested in it?

As Doug suggested, there's probably more help on rec.sport.triathlon,
and I think some of those folks now hang out on www.trinewbies.com
(iirc, that might not be the exact name) or another site. (We used to
have some posters on both, but I haven't seen them here or there in awhile.)
