Didn't run at all last week. My knee is still hurting since my half
marathon a week ago. So I'm going to take two weeks off from running.
I'll do stretching every day this week. I have a 10K on Jan 6th. My
treadmill speed is 1 hour for 10 K. I run much slower on the road. My
goal for this 10K is to run pain free and enjoy the process. I intend
to run one race per month from now on. Looking forward to my 10K.

Thanks.

Oops same timing on creating the thread. I still think someone should post
it Saturday so Europeans and others can post early Sunday.

mon: off
tues: 1:03 (0:37 ran easy, 0:26 biked easy)
wed: 1:04 (0:46 ran (strides), 0:18 walked) rain
thur: 1:19 (0:39 ran mild progression, 0:40 biked)
fri: 1:05 (0:39 ran easy, 0:26 biked easy)
sat: 1:46 (1:20 ran easy trails 1400', 0:26 biked easy)
sun: off (moving 'long' run from Sun to Sat)

Right now in pre-ramp maintenance mode. Legs feeling ok, not great. The warm
weather in the northeastern US has made it great so far. That said, cold
days, like we had last week, can drain you if you're under other stress.

I'm working on a training plan for the next 7 months, with mainly the
mountain race of the escarpment trail in mind, including base, hills, speed,
and peaking. I hope to post more on this today or tomorrow and would like
comments and advice from the group.

goals:
lose 19 pounds to 156
sub 20 5k Springtime
Escarpment trail sub 4 July
sub 72 10 miler Fall

I wonder how long it takes a new header to propagate around to the major
news servers. I was happy with you creating it for a while there; I just
figured you were out for one of your 20 milers this time since it was later
than usual.

I was seeing if I could contact David so we could pass it back to him, but
it looks like his old website is down. http://www.absolutelyaccurate.com
Hope all is well with him.

For now I'll try to post it Sat night, but it's still first come first to
post it as far as I'm concerned.

I vote for the upstate NY runner. :-)

Really, I vote someone throws together a perl script to post it
automatically each week. I do not volunteer.
