Subject: Sunblock recommendation (not greasy, doesnt sting eyes)

I am trying to find a sunblock that is not greasy and doesnt sting my
eyes.
I tried Coppertone Gel (alcohol based), it still seemed too greasy for
me.
Thanks

I really like the Neutrogena stick. I'm a fly fisherman
and I don't want to touch my flies with sunscreen on my
hands.

Aztc Sun God suntan lotion: "And then hop, hop, hop, like a big funny!"

(Never used the stuff, but I used to like the radio commercial.)

I recently bought the 'Sport' version of one of those continuous spray
sunscreens. Turns out it dries to a matte finish and I suppose, doesn't
migrate while 'sporting'. It mentioned non-slip grip..... This, too, is
alcohol based and burns cuts.

2nd this recommendation. A writer for the NY Times gave it a
the best rating for protection against a wide range of UV rays.
I've been very happy with it. The SPF is something like 55, but
it does cost a little more.

I'm a big supporter of a Vancouver company that makes the best
sunscreen. It's a dry oil style and isn't greasy, doesn't sweat off and
doesn't give me breakouts when I use it on my face. You can find it all
over the US

I liked that one too until I tried the Neutrogena Ultra Soft Hydrating
sunblock. This is the most perfect sunblock I've tried so far! It is
very light weight & not greasy at all which I like a lot while I
thought the Ultra Sheer was still a bit greasy for me & doesn't cause
me to breakout like the other sunblocks.

I don't swear by any one brand..... I just get whatever is cheap and
high SPF and "sport" version (won't sweat off easily).

But one thing I learned from a book or mag way back when I started
running was not to put the sunblock on the forehead, so that it
wouldn't run down into your eyes from sweating, etc. For me that works
fine, since I wear a cap with a large brim to shade my forehead. And of
course, the sunblock goes everywhere else that is exposed.

A little tip that might work for you.

Try Colorescience Sunforgetable.. it's a dry powder that's transparent,
is highly water resistant and has a brush applicator. and lasts EIGHT
HOURS. I use it daily
