I was reading an interesting topic about Sciatic nerve problems and the
discussion erupted into accusations and swearing. Is there anywhere on
the internet that is safe from this garbage? I just want to get advice
on making my running better.

As to sciatica I have been out today for my first run after 3 months
apart from an abortive jog a feww weeks ago. I have tirelessly cajoled
this leg back into action and I have found that the lower back
excercise regime I started a month ago has really paid dividends . I
started with a muscle massage with deep heat then just light warm up
then out for 1.6 mile - I took my small daughter who does XC at school.
She wanted to run faster but I stayed slow and now after final
stretches and a hot bath I'm pain free. Tommorrow will be key.
Stick with it!!

From what you say I assume many threads are the same. If you were to
download Nfilter from:

You would be able to obliterate his posts under any name he chooses to
post under (which appears to be lots). Why bother killfiling each
individual name, when you can kill off EVERY POST he makes before he
even makes it by, for example, killing every post that has a Path that
begins:
lga.POSTED!53ab2750!not-for-mail
Likewise, when other people you don't like post through different
ISPs/relays/proxies, filter out the posts not on the name (the From
field), which can be changed, but on header fields that cannot be
changed or removed, like NNTP-Posting-Host: [including IP address] or
Mail-To-News-Contact: or X-WebTV-Signature:
Do you find articles that are crossposted are always spam or junk?
Then filter out all crossposted articles.
Want to allow crossposts to two groups, but no more than two groups?
Then filter posts that are crossposted to more than two groups.
Want to disallow articles crossposted to alt.troll? Then filter out
alt.troll.
Instead of quitting a group, just filter out the noise from the group
until the lamers quit because they're sick of talking to themselves.
