Subject: I ran this morning

According to my training schedule in a previous post.

I ran exactly 3.1 miles in 35 minutes 5.31 seconds outside on the
roads. I feel great, though I am sure it will be an early night for me.
What really surprised me was that my legs feel much better than when I
ran before. Yesterday I bought a pair of asics 2110 shoes to run in and
they must have made a difference from running in my cross trainers. I
am glad I started posting here, you people are al full of ...goood
advice.

Thanks for all the help so far.

The shoes surely helped, especaill going from crosstrainers to real
running shoes. Cross trainers seem to be adequate for all sports, but
good for none.

Sounds like you enjoyed the run. That's the key.

new shoes, yay! i finally broke down after months and months of
resisting and bought a new pair of shoes last week and the first time i
ran in them they felt sooo good. i felt like i was actually running
instead of plodding along ;) i swear i will not complain about having to
pay so much for new shoes ever again.
