Stetching exercises, foot inserts, night splints. I've used them all. I
found the night splints to work best but all work.

Every single time I pass a step, I put my toe on it and stretch out the leg.

Get orthodics from a good podiatrist or chiropractor that examines your
gait and your foot. Hopefully someone that other runners recommend.

A good podiatrist doesn't guess based on symptoms, they have a
ultrasound that lets them look at the actual ligaments. They cost a
lot, so many will not have one.

Consider a bone scan, for a stress fracture. It is a silent cousin.

Supplement your running with other workouts.
