I don't take a music player along on my runs but songs that go thru my
head include a lot of rock including Springstein's Born to Run. But I
also found for picking up the pace a little, and getting a 3 step
breathing pattern, the song I hear is Hark Silver Bells. Weird, but it
helps pick up the pace.

A long run favorite is "500Miles". I think that's the title. The
refrain has the lines "I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500
more, just to be the man who walked a thousand miles to show up at your
door."

Yep, that's weird, alright. ;^)

I don't take music on my runs anymore, because I usually run with friends.
If I did, though, I'd take my iPod Shuffle. It's about the size of a pack
of gum, and at 1 gig, can hold about 240 songs. Pretty cool.

That was done by a Scottish duo (twin brothers). The song was on the Dumb &
Dumber soundtrack. They were essentially a one-hit wonder.
