Today I wanted to add another fifteen seconds to the 2nd and 4th splits,
bringing them up to 3:30, and I succeeded; I had thought about keeping
the walk after the 2nd split at 3:15, but I increased it to 3:30. I'll
wait until after I can do 3-5-3-5 to start lowering the walking times.

Judging from the way I feel afterwards, I'll redo these times on
Wednesday. It will be at least Friday until I even thing about
increasing them to 3:45.

I told a friend last night that I think I can go four or five minutes at
twelve min/mile, and I think that I can do that, but only if it's my
initial attempt--definitely not after doing three minutes at that speed.

To summarize: 3R, 3W, 3:30R, 3:30W, 3R, 3W, 3:30R
Total time: 22:30
Distance 1.37 Miles
Pace: 16:25 mi/min

A bit shorter than last Friday and this Monday, and at a slower pace
too; I think that confirms my decision to keep these split times for at
least one more run.
