Does anyone still post anything about running?

I'm sick of hearing about where people allegedly live on cardboard
sheets (with Internet access), about saviours of mankind trying to
raise money to buy them goodness knows what (faster Internet access?)
and about amature shrinks daignosing everyone's problems (and even
prescribing medication).

What the hell has all this got to do with running?

Is it just me? Do I need medication?

... further,
Antipsychotics take away ANY desire
TO run whatsoever.

Or even move.

Running is a privledge.

The Homeless have too many other pressing
daily concerns, no running shoes, no where
to wash their sweaty running clothes.

No easy way to shower.

& rigid schedules of when/where
food is served.

I miss running.
I miss spincycling.
I miss yoga.
I miss my shower.
I miss my bed.
I miss my own computer.
I miss my own books.

I want to go home.

It's called unmoderated forums. Your choice is to find a real or quasi
moderated forum to keep the crap out or enjoy/suffer with the openness
of USENET and use readers that have filters or delete thread functions.
Coolrunning and Runnersworld have boards/groups that are relatively BS
free but use web based tools that are slow and functionally blah and
that includes the new Runnersworld format but you have infrequent crap.

Filters work well to get rid of the garbage. Not sure what you're using
to read the groups, but with Netscape newsreader, and many others, one
can filter out certain posters and topics. Other readers may have more
powerful ways of filtering.
